Homeowners Insurance

Carrying insurance is often required or certainly necessary. When it comes to one’s home, why not get the coverage you need to safeguard what is often your biggest investment, not only out of necessity but because of a desire to know you’re well protected? There are so many wonderful benefits of insurance.

What is this Coverage? Good homeowners Insurance is an agreement made between a homeowner and an insurance provider. The contract promises compensation for a variety of covered losses. When you buy home insurance, you are obtaining outstanding protection.

Who Benefits? Property owners who desire quick financial help in the aftermath of an unexpected fire, severe storm damage or other perils will benefit greatly from this coverage. Any homeowner will need this essential protection.

How it Functions: A typical policy provides one with financial protection from a myriad of covered risks or perils. Policyholders simply pay a premium to the insurance company and the provider in turn promises to pay out for losses (normally after a deductible is first paid).

Home Insurance

Different Kinds of Coverage

Dwelling Coverage: This coverage safeguards the structure and appliances that are built-in. It also extends protection to any attached structures like a shed, cellar or garage.
Personal Property Coverage: This is what provides protection for the homeowner’s personal belongings.

Liability Coverage: This will protect you should guests and visitors somehow sustain bodily injury while being on your property. This coverage can pay their medical and some other expenses- The person affected may also get pay-outs for loss of income, suffering, and pain. It can also compensate for costs associated with the legal process in case you are sued.

Loss of Use Coverage: This is what handles the costs related to a covered loss. In some cases, you may need temporary lodging during a home’s repair or rebuilding. The insurance company compensates for your temporary accommodation and other living costs in this case.

Big Benefits

Good homeowner insurance protects one’s investment and his or her personal assets. Once one purchases coverage, they can rest assured in knowing that covered repairs due to some incident can be dealt with easily. Home policies are often more reasonable than other kinds of insurance and it provides priceless peace of mind in knowing that when you are a victim of loss, you will have financial protection. Your home may very well be your dream and the biggest investment you will ever make. Why not protect it and other valuable belongings you own? Speak with an insurance agent to help you in finding the right policy for your needs.

Auto Insurance

Auto Insurance

Those who have gone through the experience of a car accident certainly understand the need for good car insurance protection to mitigate financial loss and injury. Good car insurance is a special kind of insurance that all who drive a vehicle must obtain, with the exception being times in which the vehicle is unregistered and/or not operating. Drivers are normally obligated to carry a policy that at least will provide the minimum amount of coverage mandated by law in one’s state. Each state will often have different requirements for this coverage. The main reason for auto insurance is to financially safeguard all who share the road. It provides compensation for victims of accidents so that they can handle their medical expenses and vehicle repair costs.
A standard car insurance policy generally offers six kinds of coverage including that for personal injury, bodily injury liability, comprehensive, collision, property damage liability and underinsured and uninsured protection. Policyholders are welcome to buy other additional coverage to add to the basic policy to enable more comprehensive protection.

How Premiums Are Decided

The cost of premiums will vary from one driver and vehicle to another depending on several factors. Each insurance policy and the above described coverage aspects will come with deductibles that one must pay before coverage kicks in. For instance, a person may have protection for cases of vandalism. The policyholder would first have to pay the deductible before the insurance provider will pay out. Once the premium is paid, the insurance company then will provide compensation for necessary repairs for the vehicle. Deductibles may vary from $250 to $2,500 or more and, normally, the higher the deductibles, the lower the premiums will be.

One’s Age and Gender: Insurance providers will normally charge higher premiums for the coverage of teenagers, new drivers and young adults up to 30 years of age. This is due to the fact that these groups are at higher risk of accidents. It is also statistically determined that women tend to be more cautious behind the wheel, and this can lead to less costly premiums.

The Make and Model: The kind of car covered can also make a difference due to higher output engines (sport cars), their repair and replacement costs, etc.

Marital Status: It has been shown that single drivers are responsible for more accidents than those who are married, which means higher premiums normally.

Other Factors: Other issues that affect cost include one’s credit score, a car’s safety rating, one’s driving record, as well as the car’s age. Policyholders may also be offered several discounts, such as when one completes a safe driving course, if one is of a certain occupation, is a good student or when driving fewer miles per year than on average, and so on.

Accidents can happen at any time and any place. Purchasing good auto insurance coverage will protect you from the financial repercussions of the many perils that one faces daily as a driver.

Life Insurance

Life Insurance

The subject of one’s mortality is never a particularity pleasant subject; however, it is the one thing we all can be sure of facing at some point. Of course, there is always the chance that this might happen sooner than we might wish and certainly unexpectedly. The fact is some of us will die sooner than others so it always makes sense to plan for one’s passing by carrying good life insurance coverage.

A life insurance plan is a specialized type of coverage that provides monetary benefits to those who are named in one’s policy, payable to them after his or her death. With family breadwinners, whose loved ones are dependent upon them financially, a sudden death can have huge consequences that can mean great financial difficulty. Sometimes it is made available to family or friends who simply don’t wish to be left responsible for all the expenses in dealing with death and its aftermath.

Having quality life insurance means that the benefits can be used by named beneficiaries in order to compensate for a breadwinner’s lost income, remaining debts and to help in achieving various other financial objectives, such as a child’s education or to pay a mortgage and more. The level and type of death benefits can be had along with a myriad of options that are generally determined by one’s needs, desires and budget. Health insurance can be obtained from a broker or directly from the insurance provider.

How it Functions: When choosing a new life insurance plan, it is important to consider the policy’s term length. Some plans, known as term insurance, might have a “term” of only 10 or 15 years. Other forms are designed to stay in effect for one’s whole life, (often known as “whole life.”) Before you buy coverage, take into account how long you desire coverage to be in effect. Longer periods of coverage will normally have higher premium costs. It is always a smart to consider the higher priced policies when determining one’s desired death benefits and length of coverage as we all wish our loved ones to avoid being in any kind of financial trouble as a result of our passing on.

Good Tips: Prior to investing in a good life insurance plan, it is important to look over your budget and come up with a financial forecast as to how the death benefits might end up being used. For example, those who are survive a policyholder’s death might want to have a payout that is put to work in creating a stable income for themselves for a certain period of time. One who is shopping for life insurance is counseled to first discuss such matters with his or her family and then with an insurance agent.

Toys Insurance

Boats

Boats are a very popular form of recreational vehicle, or more accurately, craft. Regardless of whether the boat is used for recreational or commercial reasons, it is important that one carry good boat insurance. To be sure that both your boat and you are well protected, it is critical that you get boat insurance coverage. Doing so, the policyholder can enjoy a wide variety of benefits.

A notable plus in purchasing boat insurance is the protection that is provided should the craft be damaged or stolen. As a boat owner, there are various risk factors that can have a consequence of financial loss. These include severe weather, negligence with the boat owner or his or her passengers, theft and even vandalism. Understanding that boat ownership can be a significant investment, it makes perfect sense to purchase a policy that will provide the option of full replacement and repair protection.
Another benefit of having boat insurance is the built-in liability protection. When operating a boat, one is not only responsible for his or herself, but for all on the boat and those who happen to be in or near the water and potentially in harm’s way. Should you be part of a boating accident, liability issues can be financially devastating for you. Obtaining full liability coverage for a boat, one can enjoy the protection needed should an accident of some occur.

Boat Insurance

Motorcycles

This type of insurance protection, similar to typical car insurance, has two aspects: One part offers financial protection should you, the motorcyclist, be involved in some kind of an accident. It will pay out for your costs should you be injured and also handle any property damage for which you are deemed responsible. The second component protects your bike should an accident occur, regardless of fault or in the case of theft or even vandalism. Depending on the type of coverage one purchases, the insurance company will compensate for the total or partial amount of the damages sustained.

It is important to remember that one’s auto insurance coverage will not apply to a motorcycle. Many erroneously believe that their motorbike is covered under their standard auto insurance plan and this just plain wrong. One needs a separate plan for his or her motorbike.

Who Benefits? This kind of insurance coverage is engineered for owners of motorcycles. All who own and ride a motorcycle are highly encouraged and, often, mandated to carry this type of insurance to cover themselves, their motorbike and others too.

Motorcycle Insurance

Kinds of Coverage: The first type of coverage for motorcycles, known as liability coverage, protects the policyholder should he or she be determined to be at fault for an accident. In this case, liability is what pays for damages to another individual (physical, bodily damage) or property (such as damage to the other vehicle or other property, if the rider is deemed responsible.
The second type is collision coverage. This kind of protection compensates for the costs of repair or replacement of your motorcycle, regardless of fault. Should even the other driver be determined to be at fault, the insurance provider will normally pay to replace or repair the covered bike to get you back on the road fast.

The third type of coverage is known as comprehensive. This is what compensates a policyholder for losses to a motorcycle other than from a road accident. This would include such things as vandalism theft, severe weather and other forms of naturally destructive events.

Huge Benefits: Arguably the biggest benefit in purchasing good motorcycle insurance is the relief in knowing that you are fully financially protected. This coverage protects you, your motorbike and other parties should the unexpected ever happen. Being un-insured means that you are more vulnerable and, should the worst case occur, it can leave you responsible for many expenses. The coverage is relatively inexpensive and most insurance companies allow the policyholder pay premiums monthly, bi-annually or yearly.

Recreational Vehicles

Good RV insurance is often necessary in areas where they are common, such as the United States and the United Kingdom. Often known as motorhome coverage, the category is actually quite diverse in what is covered, such as pop-up trailers, towed campers and more. Often times one will find that RVs are loaded with appliances, beds and other amenities that are common to a single-family home. These days RVs have luxurious and technically advanced features such as LED TVs, appliances, satellite and, of course, leather couches and comfy beds. Good recreational vehicle insurance coverage is offered to assist RV owners and to protect them financially from the consequences of theft, collisions and natural disasters that can happen anytime on or off the road.

Carrying this coverage means that you, in exchange for paying premiums, are covered for RV repairs and vehicle replacement. It also means you can likely handle whatever issue strikes and get back on the road and to your vacation more quickly. There are levels of coverage that include “market value” policies that pay out based on the RV’s current market value and “agreed value” policies that are determine by a pre-determined amount one agrees to with the insurer prior to obtaining the coverage.

RV Insurance
Types of RV Insurance Coverage: Liability coverage protects RV owners from property damage and injuries claimed by third parties. In most states, this is the kind of basic coverage that is often required.

Total loss replacement policies allow for the policyholder to replace an RV that is totaled (or beyond repair). Personal effects replacement coverage allocates funds for the costs associated with lost, stolen or damaged personal items with little to no payments out-of-pocket. One is often afforded the flexibility with these policies to up premiums so as to boost the level of coverage from, for example, 1,000 to 100,000 dollars.
One can also choose policy coverage that handles emergency costs such as lodging, food and alternative transportation should your RV be inoperable. The medical coverage option allows you to get help in paying for injuries sustained in an accident with your RV.
There are even incidental coverage options one can acquire, such as windshield repair that pays out for their repair or replacement.

Since accidents while traveling across the country can happen in rather remote places, there is also roadside assistance coverage that provides fulltime support should the vehicle break down, if one gets locked out, needs transportation if the RV is unable to operate, and so on. There is even the option for pet owners to safeguard their pets while on the road. Then there is specialty coverage offered by some insurance providers that give one protection from physical and property damages while motoring south into Mexico.

I have spent the past 5 years in the insurance industry. All my experience has been with personal lines. Although, I enjoy helping my current insureds bringing in new business and saving people money while informing them of their coverages is the name of my game. Liberty/Staley born and breed. My parents were both born and raised in the area as well. Chances are if you don’t know me you probably know my mom (“Mrs. Campbell”) because she was a teacher at Liberty Elementary for 20+ years!

The most rewarding part of my job is feeling like I have helped someone. Bringing a customer, a better understanding of insurance. Chances are unless you are in this industry you do not know the ins and outs of insurance. I feel it is important to make sure you are covered in any situation life may throw your way. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with family and close friends. The beach is where I prefer to spend my time with them. Always down for a good girls weekend! Most likely if you have been around me 5 minutes or less you know all about my Standard Poodle, Marsha. She is my literal child!

When I’m not at work you’ll find me at the racetrack. My husband is the driver of the #50 Late Model stock car, and I am absolutely his biggest fan on and off the track. If we happen to have a weekend off racing, catch us on the Harley getting some wind therapy. We love to ride with our group of friends I refer to as the “old folks” they are all our parents age or older. I LOVE THIS, because I would consider my husband and I both old souls. I’m not a talented person by any means. My guilty pleasure is a good ol’ retail therapy session. I love nothing more than a shopping trip with my mom. She is definitely my built-in bestie.

I have always found volunteering fun! I have done some time at the local food pantries and other various projects with Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where I have been a member since birth. The thing I take most pride in is the time I spent volunteering in the special needs classes in high school.

I have over 15 years in the insurance industry with the last 10 years being solely concentrated on commercial lines.
I grew up in NC and I have watched it grow from basically a small city with many outlying farm communities, to a small to medium bustling metropolis with many outlying small cities and the farm communities still being on the fringe.

I love helping our clients with their business insurance needs, so they can be more focused on the other aspects of their business and know that they are well taken care of by an agent who truly cares about them and their business.

I enjoy discussing the major topics of our day and how to possibly resolve issues that affect us as a society. I like to listen to other people’s ideas and enjoy getting opinions of others to see how different perspectives tackle different problems.

When I’m not at work, you can find me playing volleyball or coaching my son’s soccer team, or sometimes just picking up a good book. My favorite way to spend a weekend is with my son at the beach or on a trip. As long as we are hanging out together and he is enjoying himself and having new experiences, I am happy! Seeing the world through the eyes of our children, is one of the coolest things about being a parent.

I don’t have any guilty pleasures, but I do have a specific talent. I taught ballroom dancing for the last 25 years and I am still pretty good at it. I still dance and teach occasionally.

I am a coach for my local community soccer teams. I also volunteer with the ROC Solid Foundation which helps children and their families that are affected by cancer. They provide “ready bags” for the start of their hospital stays, playsets and room makeovers for children with cancer.

Sales Agent – Sanford

I have been an agent in the insurance industry since 2008. I started with our team at Insurance of the Carolinas in 2016. I specialize in personal and commercial line accounts. I grew up in Deep River, NC which is a small town in Sanford, NC where I was able to enjoy four wheeling and fishing before finding my love for Science in college. My absolute favorite thing to do at my job is to educate my customers on their coverages. Almost every time I have a conversation about coverage with a customer they tell me that it has never been properly explained to them before. I love being able to help them understand what coverages they are purchasing and what they may be missing on their policy. A fun fact about me is that I really enjoy fringe Science and new technological advancements. Questioning why things are the way they are keeps us moving forward. I also really enjoy discussing conspiracy theories. When I have any free time, I enjoy spending it with my husband and our four kids. We enjoy day trips and weekend trips from the mountains to the beach and everywhere in between. Our family motto is, “work hard, play harder.” Another fun fact in my family is that we play the piano, drums, violin, guitar, and sing. Our guilty pleasure is binge watching Netflix (especially Sci-Fi). I volunteer at our local homeless shelter with my children where we serve lunch to over a hundred homeless and shut in seniors. I also enjoy volunteering in the nursery at my church.

After graduating from high school, I joined the Marine Corps. I enjoy being outdoors. Nowadays most conversations are about my children. I try to spend as much time as I can with my wife and children. If I am not working I will usually be working around the house or helping out friends. Most weekends are spent with my family. I can fix almost anything. I enjoy challenges and someone saying that something can not be repaired. I work with the Boy Scouts where I have been involved as a Leader for the past 8 years. I am also on the planning and zoning board for the Town of Liberty.

I have been in the industry since 2006. I have been involved in the sales and service sides of the industry during that time. I enjoy keeping up with the changes and products offered by insurance companies. It is important to me that the customer make an informed decision on their coverages so that they can have peace of mind. I grew up in Winston-Salem on the outskirts of Walkertown and Kernersville. I studied eCommerce at Strayer University. There is nothing I enjoy more than being on the beach. The ocean soothes my soul. I am always ready to be creative and make or refurbish/repurpose anything. My guilty pleasure is watching cooking shows, I can’t get enough of them. When I am not at work I am with my family. We enjoy going camping any chance we get. Let me just say that our camping is not primitive. It includes AC, heat, TV, shower and usually a resort-style campground. I support the Next Step Ministries. Personal Lines Account Manager – Sanford

I started in the insurance industry four years ago as a receptionist. I then obtained my Property & Causality insurance license, so I could assist our clients with their insurance needs.

I grew up in Sanford, NC and later moved to Broadway, NC. I have a business degree, but before my career in the insurance industry, I had a full-time job raising my 3 daughters.

The different people I get the chance of working with daily makes my work exciting! They tell me about their life and I help them with their insurance needs. I learn something new every day!

I enjoy spending time with my daughters. I am expecting my first grandchild next year and I am beside myself with excitement.

If I can find some free time in the week, I love a good Netflix binge! Other than that, you can catch me spending time with my family.

I like to shop for clothes and shoes. My favorite go to color is black. I probably own every style of black shirts that Belk’s has to offer.

Children are a passion of mine. I like to volunteer to keep them, if a need arises. My house has always been a home away from home for anyone in need.

I have worked in the insurance industry for 20 plus years. I started with an independent agency, that later became the agency we have today.

I was born and raised in Sanford NC.

My absolute favorite thing about my job is the people that I meet. I have established lasting relationships with a lot of customers. I am very compassionate, and my memory is that of an elephant.

I am pretty simple person. I enjoy just about anything from sitting down with a good book, to browsing around in an antique store looking for treasures. If I am not doing that I am spending time with my two twin grandchildren that live with me. They were born in December of 2016. I didn’t know how much I was missing until they came into my life!

If I’m not working, I’m still busy doing something around my house. Between 3 children and 3 grandchildren there is always something to do. I would love to spend a weekend on an island with no interruptions.

All my customers know that I collect squirrels. They are eager to bring me one to add to my awesome collection that I started roughly four years ago. What they don’t know is how much I treasure each one of them and I always write on the bottom who it was from.

In my life right now, I must consider taxi driver, cook, maid, boo-boo kisser, bug killer, teacher, personal accountant and anything else that goes along with having a family as my volunteer activities.

Happiness Team Leaders

Hi there, We are Espn Wrigley and Fenway (Fenny)! We are Goldendoodles and you guessed it, we LOVE baseball! We are also on the Happiness Team at Insurance of the Carolinas. Our job is to promote joy and happiness to all of those we meet in person and get to see via the world of social media. However, we can’t really call it a “job” when we get to play fetch and get belly rubs while we “work”. We also love getting to work with our team members at Insurance of the Carolinas and it’s not just because they know we love peanut butter. If you see us around the office we would love to “sit and shake paws” with you, and if you see us on social media, be sure to “like” our picture so our mom can show us!

Commercial Lines Account Manager – Raleigh

I have been in the insurance industry since 2000. Prior to joining Insurance of the Carolinas, I had worked as an account executive at an insurance brokerage firm for 14 years handling middle-sized reverse flow accounts in the Inward Investment Unit. In this unit, we specialized in handling US commercial insurance for the US subsidiaries with parent companies located overseas.

I grew up in Manhattan, NY and lived there for more than 30 years. I graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook, NY in 2000 and since then, I have been working in the insurance industry.

What I love most about my job is being able to help people. It is a great feeling to know that you have made a difference in their lives.

I love to read and I’m a huge fan of Dan Brown and John Grisham. Another thing I love to do is trying out new restaurants for tasty food with my kids.

When I am not working, I’m usually spending time with my kids, either at the wellness center or the pool.
I would love to travel to Asia with all my friends to try out all the five-star buffets.

Prior to moving to Cary in December 2017, I used to participate in the March of Dimes and Corporate Challenges every year. As long as I have time and it is for a good cause, I like to volunteer in many different areas.

I’ve been involved in the insurance industry for 11 years in one way or another. The majority of that time has been dedicated to commercial/business insurance. I grew up in Cridersville, OH. I graduated from The College of Wooster in 2001 and moved to North Carolina that same year.

What excites me most about my job is that our business is always changing. It is interesting keeping up with those changes year in and year out. It is fulfilling to communicate those changes to our insureds so that they better understand the coverages they have, should have and need.

I really enjoy getting out to see live music. Luckily, I live in an area with plenty of those opportunities. While I wouldn’t call it a talent by any stretch of the imagination, I do like to play the guitar. Practicing at it keeps me occupied during the minimal downtime I have.

When I’m not working, I spend the majority of my time with my wife and daughter puttering around Raleigh. Otherwise, I spend a good deal of time tinkering around the house and jogging out at William B Umstead State Par

I have been with our agency since 2013. I specialize in personal line accounts but I also enjoy working on commercial and life Insurance accounts. I am a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), and I am always looking to further my knowledge in the insurance industry.

I am from the small town of Asheboro, NC (where the NC Zoo is😊). I love the beach and I was blessed to go to college there. I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington before joining our team at Insurance of the Carolinas.

One thing I really love about my job is helping members understand the coverages that they have on their policy. Insurance can seem like a different language at times and I love being able to break that barrier and help a member truly understand what they are protecting.

One thing you’ll always find me talking about is how much I love my two Goldendoodle fur children, Espn Wrigley and Fenway Jones. They go everywhere they can with me and have never met a stranger! Our family means so much to me and my nieces are the light of my life. They love their Aunt “Cayeee” and I shamelessly show their pictures to everyone I meet.

In my free time, if it is a sunny, warm day, you can find my husband and myself on the beach! Whether it be after the summer season when we can take our dogs out on the beach for long walks, or the most wonderful summer months spent getting vitamin SEA. If it’s not the beach, you can find us traveling and finding new adventures!

A fun fact about me is that I love film and I have a passion for acting/participating in the film industry if I can. I have been an extra and/or a stand-in actor for “The Longest Ride”, “Under the Dome”, “Wonder Woman 1984”, among other small productions.

I am a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. I love being able to volunteer with Safe Kids, Randolph County. Our mission is to help protect Randolph County’s children (birth to age 18) from unintentional, preventable childhood injuries. I am also a member of Asheboro Junior Women’s club. We are committed to improving the lives of women and children through community activism and volunteerism in Randolph Country. Additionally, I am also on the board of the Liberty Veterans Memorial and Gardens.

I have been in the insurance industry since 2014. I work mainly with customers needing Home or Auto Insurance. I am also a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR).

I grew up in the very small town of Coleridge, NC. So small, they don’t even have their own post office (they use the neighboring towns).

I love being able to work with customers on a one on one basis. I also like being able to help customers understand what coverages they have on their current policy. This is important because they may be missing out on coverages that could be beneficial to them in the event of a claim.

I love to cook and bake for friends. I like to believe that in a past life I was a master chef! I also enjoy running.
I love spending time with my husband and 2 children. I am always bringing up new adventures for us to go on.
I love shoes! I really don’t enjoy “shopping” per say, but I love that I can order a dreamy pair of shoes online and them be sent to my door in no time!

I am a volunteer with Safe Kids of Randolph and Chatham Counties, which promotes the safety of children. I am on the Student LIFT committee of Randolph County aimed at the development of leadership skills of youth as well as highlighting to those students all the opportunities that the County has to offer as far as careers. I also serve on the Board of the Liberty Veterans Memorial and Gardens which has worked tirelessly to build a memorial in the town of Liberty NC for all of our veterans. I also volunteer at the North Carolina Zoo with my daughter on the giraffe deck feeding the zoos three beautiful giraffes and educating the public about them. I have also worked in conjunction with the Zoo at their Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.

Chief Financial Officer- Liberty

After 15 years of working as a Nursing Home Administrator and Corporate Director in Long Term Care, I have recently moved into the Insurance industry. I have teamed up with my husband, Jeff Lawver, to provide my financial and managerial experience to boost the operations of Insurance of the Carolinas.

I grew up in Liberty, NC. I moved away from home at the age of 13 to attend Salem Academy boarding school for a portion of my high school years. I then moved onto East Carolina University where I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management with a double concentration in Finance and Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship.

I enjoy working with numbers and achieving financial freedom via hard work and integrating with others on a daily basis. I am truly intrigued by organizational behaviors and relish working with a team to create a positive working environment which ultimately results in a successful business operation.

I love to watch my three children perform in their chosen extracurricular activities which include football, competitive cheerleading, rockstar drumming, and dancing.

I have a special connection with the ocean. I like to be sitting or playing beside it or skimming across it on a boat. I plan to retire on the coast of the Carolinas.

I enjoy crafting and creating things with my hands. I have a guilty pleasure for cross stitching which I learned from my grandmother when I was a child.

I am an active volunteer at my children’s school. I also donate my time and funds to local animal organizations and my alma mater, East Carolina University.

Agency President – Liberty
(336) 622-8000

I have been the owner and operator of the agency for the past 11 years. The agencies that I own, have been around since 1955.

I grew up in the small town of Bolivar, OH. I went to a Division III college in Ohio (The College of Wooster). I made my way down to NC by throwing a dart at the map (the day before I graduated) and I hit upon Raleigh, NC.

The thing I most enjoy about work is helping people understand what insurance is all about so they can make an educated decision and are properly covered in the event of a loss. Anyone can be an order taker. At our agency, we strive to be Trusted Insurance Advisors, so we can get the best product for all of our clients.

I have three children that are all over the place with extracurricular activities (such as competitive cheerleading, playing the drums, football, dance). I love going to watch them excel at these activities.

My favorite way to spend the weekend is sitting in a beach chair, at the ocean with my wife. Other than the beach, going to sporting events and concerts would be the other place you would find me when I’m not at work.

One of my interests is in landscaping. I really enjoy making my property look great. When I was growing up, I spent a great deal of time with my father, planting trees, shrubs, etc. and I have continued with that tradition today with my son.

I currently coach my son’s football team and have for many years. I enjoy working with the children to improve their skill level while making sure they are having fun doing it.
