Educational outcomes for schoolchildren in North Carolina are declining. Compared to the national average, North Carolina is facing shortfalls in both the number of children who graduate high school and the number of young people who receive a four year degree.
Insurance of the Carolinas is leading a statewide campaign to provide assistance to children. “Our agency is concerned about recent educational shortfalls, and our offices are implementing a rewards program to help encourage local families to get involved and help us provide educational resources to students who need them,” said agency CEO Jeff Lawver.
